Crafting Myanmar’s Finest Teas, From Origin to Cup

Immortal Monarch’s journey began in the rich tea-growing highlands of Kyaukme, Shan State, where our passion for quality and tradition took root in the early 2000s. We started as a regional tea trading company, sourcing premium highland tea leaves and distributing to central and lower Myanmar. By 2010, we had expanded into the retail and branded markets, opening distribution branches in Pyay, Yangon, and Mandalay.


Today, our tea operation is powered by a state-of-the-art Tea Manufacturing Facility in Kyaukme, where we produce a range of premium teas using a blend of traditional techniques and modern processing technologies. Our product line includes:

We proudly operate under a family of trusted local tea brands including: Shwe Zayan, Shwe Pin Yin, Mhwae Mhwae Lay, Laphet Sein, Shwe Hlaing Tun, and Tharaphu (Crown)—each reflecting the unique taste preferences of Myanmar consumers.
For global markets, we proudly represent Myanmar’s tea excellence through our premium export brand, Northern Old Tree, offering refined and rare teas that meet international standards in quality and packaging.

To lead in innovation, we’ve established an R&D and Pickled Tea Processing Center in Mandalay, where we develop high-grade Laphet (fermented tea) using advanced fermentation science, packaging design, and flavor profiling.

With full vertical integration—from sourcing leaves from partner farmers to crafting, branding, and delivering to end consumers—we ensure traceability, consistency, and sustainability across every step.
